Dark Matter by Blake Crouch, Review

☆☆☆☆☆

Five Stars + nothing short of it.

“All your life you’re told you’re unique. An individual. That no one on the planet is just like you. It’s humanity’s anthem.  But that isn’t true for me anymore.”

Have you ever wondered what your life would be like if you chose a different path? If you could go back to a certain moment and make another choice? Alllllll those moments you could have missed out on. After reading this book the answer to that will be a F*CK NO.

The minute you open this book, it takes ahold of you. Your head will spin + you’ll question your world, any world. You will experience Jason’s journeys as if they are your own and it will be incredible.

“Every moment, every breath, contains a choice. But life is imperfect. We make the wrong choices. So we end up living in a state of perpetual regret, and is there anything worse? I built something that could actually eradicate regret. Let you find worlds where you made the right choice.”
“Life doesn’t work that way. You live with your choices and learn. You don’t cheat the system.”

I admire Jason, everything he went through + managed to still be a good man– because that’s who he always has been.
Hey, Blake Crouch! Are we getting a second book!? ::hopeful::
